Robert A. Scott

Mr. Scott has 30 years of experience in banking, insurance, financial services, investment banking, and Internet services companies spanning the full spectrum of industries now converging in the U.S. marketplace. He specialized in operations, finance, corporate restructurings, and mergers and acquisitions. He has held COO, CFO, and CEO positions and has served on a number of corporate Boards.

During his career, Mr. Scott has been the Assistant Treasurer for National Old Line Insurance Company, the Chief Economist for the Federal Home Loan Bank, and President / CEO of American Federal Savings and Southern Savings. He has also held management positions with Stephens, Inc; Shearson American Express; Bluebonnet Savings Bank; and R.W. McKinney Trust.

He has experience managing start-ups, multi-billion asset portfolios, and turn-arounds. He has extensive experience in the work-out business and is quite adept at optimizing shareholder value and successfully exiting top-performing and under-performing businesses. He also was a founder and managing director of Incube8, Inc. a business incubator /accelerator and venture capital firm. He has raised capital for a number of technology start-up firms, including successive rounds for several software companies.

Mr. Scott received his BA and his MBA from the University of Arkansas.
